Range Sessions
Coaching at Brailsford ends on Monday 14 th & Wednesday 16 th March.
Weekend Group Coaching
We will be starting the Weekend coaching on the 12th & 13th March. There are times available on Saturdays and Sundays, please enter your preferred times on the attached sheet and hand back to The Professional Shop. Once juniors have reached a handicap of 19 or less and are able to play in the Mens Competitions they will be advised that they continue their coaching on a one on one basis.
Junior Competitions
Booking can be done online or by calling The Professional Shop. Please find a list of fixtures attached. Sunday Competitions will continue to be played in the afternoons.
Junior Camps
The first Junior Camp of 2016 is on Thursday 31 st March and can be booked as a half day or full day.
Half day 9.30am-1.00pm (includes lunch at 12.30pm) – Cost £15 per junior.
Full day 9.30am-4.00pm (includes lunch at 12.30pm and snack and drink at 3.30pm) – Cost £30 per junior.
Bookings can be made via Phil in The Professional Shop from 1 st March.
Junior Evenings
These have been a great success over the last couple of years and so will continue this year. We will hopefully begin these late April/early May if the weather is in our favour, please wait to hear from us for more information.
Junior Clubs
US Kids Golf will continue supplying our junior equipment, it has the benefit of matching the juniors size rather than age and therefore will be much more suitable and help juniors be fitted for the right size clubs. They stock single clubs up to full sets, if you are interested please contact The Professional Shop.
Woodhall Spa Away Day
We have booked another away day for the older juniors (14+ and with handicaps) to Woodhall Spa on Monday 4th April. This will be a great day out and will include coaching from myself on the range and short game area followed by 18 holes on the course, lunch will also be included. The cost of this will be £60 per junior. Spaces are limited to 8 juniors, currently there is one space left so please let me know if you would like to book it.
Junior Clothing
We are still offering Junior Clothing with the KPGC Logo for sale. Cost of jumpers is £30 each and Polo Shirts are £20.
Junior 6/9 Hole Competitions
For those juniors who are not yet ready for 18 hole competitions but like playing on the course and are capable of playing from forward tees and to around 3 over par per hole we plan to run some competitions for them on Sunday afternoons. These will be run over 6-9 holes and with the aim of creating a stepping stone to the 18 hole competitions. Furthermore they will also be able to gain a handicap of 54 or less. The juniors who play in these competitions may also want to look at competing in The Futures Tour which is played at different courses in the area amongst juniors of similar standards.
