OPEN AMATEUR COMPETITION “The Kedleston Goose” 36 HOLES SCRATCH COMPETITION KedlestonParkGolf Club Sunday 19 August 2012 Holder : C.Young (Ashbourne G.C.) Prizes: 1st KEDLESTON GOOSE TROPHY 6 Scratch Prizes 2 Nett Prizes ENTRIES LIMITED TO 72: CLOSING DATE SUNDAY 5th AUGUST 2012 The Competition is over 36 holes, Medal Play and is governed by the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in conjunction with the local rules of Kedleston Park Golf Club. The Competition is open to members, including junior members of recognised Golf Clubs holding a handicap not exceeding SIX under the current SSS and Handicapping Scheme of the Council of National Golf Unions. No Competitor to take more than one prize. Competition is over 36 holes, Medal Play, and is governed by the Rules of the Royal and Ancient Golf Club in conjunction with the local rules of Kedleston Park Golf Club. Entries will be limited to 72 and will close on 5 August 2012. In the event of over subscription, higher handicaps will be balloted out. Entrance Fee £30 (including light lunch). Competitors will be drawn and each Competitor notified by post or email. In the event of Competitors having to scratch from the event, no entry fee will be refunded after 5 August 2012. Distance Measuring Devices may be used provided they are not used to gauge any other conditions Competitors may play a free practice round on any weekday during the week preceding the day of the Competition. Rounds must be booked through the Head Professional, Paul WesselinghTelephone: 01332 841685. Ties will be decided by the Committee of Kedleston Park Golf Club whose decision will be final. The Committee reserve the right to refuse any entry without assigning a reason for their action. No Competitor may take more then one prize. All disputes will be referred to the Committee whose decision is final. Any Competitor whose handicap has been altered between the date of entry and the competition shall advise the Committee of such alteration.
