Paul combines being the resident Head Professional at Kedleston Park with a successful playing career which from 2012 will include the European Seniors Tour. 

He considers it an honour to be associated with such a prestigious and thriving club as Kedleston Park and, described by the PGA as the model Professional, he is well respected by the members and his peers alike for his teaching, playing and professional skills.

On a record six consecutive occasions Paul has represented his country in the coveted PGA Cup against the Americans including the victorious side who won the cup at the K-Club in 2005. The tour bags are all mounted on the wall in the shop at Kedleston Park .    ..

 Paul is the most consistent player to date in the history of the Glenmuir Club Professionals Championship, which he won in 2006 and has been in play-offs for the title on 3 other occasions,

He also won the European Club Professionals Championship in Sardinia in 2002. In the European Team Championships, Paul has been Captain of England on four occasions.

Over the last 25 years Paul has been a top performer in the Regional PGA Order of Merit which he has won on several occasions.  He was Captain of the Midland Region PGA in 2009 and Derbyshire PGA Captain 2007 & 2008.  He was nominated by the National PGA for the Pan-European Gold Award for outstanding performance in all areas of his profession in 2009.  In 2004 Paul was voted PGA Professional of the Year by his peers.

Paul has regularly played in the British Open and other European Tour events.
