Ladies Kedleston Senior Salver Rules

Competition Conditions

1.The competition is open to amateur female golfers of recognised golf clubs who possess a CONGU official handicap.

2.The competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews, and in conjunction with the local rules of Kedleston Park Golf Club.

3.All entries shall be subject to the approval of the Competition Committee which reserves the right to accept or refuse any entry without giving a reason for their decision.

4.The handicap limit for the Rose Bowl is 15 and the Salver 18. Entries will be limited, with preference given to the 36 hole competition. In the event of being oversubscribed there will be a ballot by handicap.

5.The Kedleston Rose Bowl will be won by the player with the lowest aggregate scratch score over 36 holes. In the event of a tie for the Rose Bowl there will be a sudden death play-off using the 1st and the 18th Holes. The entry fee, which includes a light lunch is £25.00.

6.The Kedleston Senior Salver is open to all amateur female golfers who have reached the age of 50 on the day of competition. The winner will be the player with the lowest scratch score over 18 holes. In the event of a tie, the result will be decided by a card playoff. The entry fee for this competition is £15.00.

7.The trophies will remain at the Club, with the winners presented with a memento and voucher. No competitor may take more than one prize.

8.Competitors may play a free practice round, Monday to Friday, during the week preceding the Competition. Rounds must be booked with the professional Ian Walley on Tel: No: 01332 841685.

9.A draw will take place and all competitors notified by e-mail or post. No entry fees will be refunded after the draw has been made. Any competitor that is balloted out will have their entry fee refunded.

10.DMD’s will be allowed. No Professional golfer is allowed to act as a caddie.
