The Junior section at Kedleston Park is governed by a separate Junior Trust Committee within the club.
The committee, established in 2001, meets regularly to oversee the activities of the section. The Junior section receives a percentage of junior subscriptions as well as proceeds from the Open AM-AM, with funds used to subsidise coaching for all Juniors, for match refreshments, team clothing and entrance fees for open competitions.
The objectives of the Junior Trust are to continue to offer a variety of coaching opportunities; to get more members actively participating and enjoying their golf. This includes getting more players onto the course for the 6, 9 and 18 hole competitions and to have more Juniors with handicaps, especially girls.
